Berks County is nowhere near PA’s gas drilling region? Think again!

Natural gas pipelines are heading to Berks County and a new law in PA strips your local officials of control over them.

Act 13 allows pipelines to be placed 300 feet from an elementary school and there’s not a thing you can say about it.

UPDATE: So far, Representatives Cox, Knowles, and Maloney have declined our invitation. Senator Tobash just declined via this letter to which is attached all the letters of praise he received for his vote to take away municipal control, among other things. Tobash

In the meantime, sign our petition to the County Commissioners asking them to reconsider their position on Act 13!
